Our Mission
The Cottagers, Inc. is a historic 501(3) non-profit charitable organization formed by African-American women homeowners on Martha’s Vineyard whose mission is:
To promote a sense of cultural pride by fundraising to support charitable, educational, and community service projects that help improve the quality of life in the Martha’s Vineyard community.
Our Impact
The Cottagers, Inc. is an active organization on Martha’s Vineyard supporting the island through access to culture, volunteerism, donations, and scholarships. Created as an organization to support the local community on the island we all cherish, Cottagers, Inc. has made a difference for over 65 years and continues to do so.
